Deepdene Terrace comprises 3.72 Hectares (9.2 Acres) of broadleafed woodland with large mature trees and recently planted birch and beech. An avenue of beech trees, interspersed with rhododendron, forms the main part of the reserve. It is located south east of Dorking town centre (TQ 175 490).
Deepdene Terrace is a Grade II listed landscape and there are fine views to the south across the Weald towards Reigate and Horsham, and to the north west towards Ranmore Common. The Greensand Way runs across the length of the Terrace.
The site is owned by MVDC and was until recently managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.
